Papa I will miss your love, acceptance, wisdom and kindness. There is no one I’d rather share my coffee with. Your ability to see through a person’s faults and accept their flaws was a true testament to the man you were. I know your running toward yiur love Loretta the woman who captured your handsome face, your loving heart and your firey spirit. The stories of yiur no so easy love made it one worth fighting for ... in good times and in bad. I know you will rejoice in seeing her agin...thank Lloyd for gifting us with you and our beloved Marra family. We love you and you will always be a treasured part of our lives. Rest easy darlin’xoxo

To Roseanne and Linda.... my most sincere and heartfelt condolences on the loss of Papa. It seems so unreal to even say this because his spirit was so strong, his love so powerful. My life was graced by his love and company. He will be forever cherished, his words remembered and his hugs missed. I loved him as my own blood and his friendship, kind heart, words of wisdom will never be forgotten. I shared so many cherished conversations with him and there will never be anyone I’d rather share a cup of coffee... 1/2 sweet and low and cream with. I love you papa ... rest easy darlin’ you are forever in our heart. I am so happy you will finally be with your Loretta... the girl that set yiur heart on fire. May the two of you share eternal light and love. Xoxo ....

Rest easy now Lloyd.A brave battle you fought. Now you can rest peacefully in heaven with Loretta, Walter, Chester and your son Lloyd.Thank you for stepping up when your brother passed away. From driving the kids to school, sharing a meal to see how they were doing,or something simple like fixing a leaky faucet, all of it has been greatly appreciated always. You gave them love and discipline in equal measure. To your last day the special relationship you shared with Kristen was lovely to see. You will be missed.

My deepest condolences to all that loved Lloyd. He Was truly one of the Best. Loving, caring, sincere, respectful and never judged and/or criticized. He always greeted me with a big hug and a kiss and we departed the same way. I have many cherished memories that will always hold a special place in my heart. Lloyd, Loretta and I would gather at VoVo's house or in the hospital when she started to fail and would talk for hours. Loretta would always make us laugh. When my Dad passed I remember Lloyd saying I not only lost my brother but my best friend. Not too many can say that. I will miss his handsome face, hugs, and contagious laugh. Rest in peace Lloyd. I'm sure VoVo and Cheeko are dancing with the Angels now with open arms to greet you. Give them a big "Lloyd" hug and kiss for me. Until we meet again. Love you.

Linda, you have no idea how sorry I feel for you AND your family. I know what your going through. Your lucky you had your father around a LOT longer than I had mine. He was a great man, saw much of the world. Had a beautiful family. Lived long enough to see most of all of this. He was very fortunate in life to have all this. For some reason it never gets easier here on earth, he will always be with you in your heart until you both meet again, I believe that. You see, he just went "home" to the Lord. And with his last words, "I'm ready" he was happy about that whether you knew that or not. We are only placed on this earth to pass through for a short time. So until you see him again, it gets a lot better, you'll see. :)

To Uncle Lloyd's family:

My sincerest condolences for your loss. When I spoke with Uncle Lloyd a few weeks ago by phone, his spirit was stronger than ever. He was such a good man. He was always so kind; always so gentle; always so sincere and always so wise. That big spirit of his was company to a big heart made of pure gold. May he rest in eternal peace. I will miss him.

God bless you all.
