Nuth, Leonard of Somerville, March 14 at Cambridge Hospital. Beloved father of Michaela and Christopher Nuth. Devoted companion for over 24 years of Ellen Czaja, her children and grandchildren. Half brother of John Nelson and cousin of William Malone. He was predeceased by his half-sister Patty Nelson Olson. Life-long friend of Michael Durette, Peter Sleeper, Bobby Loduca and the Ansari Family. Funeral from the Donovan-Aufiero Funeral Home, 140 Otis St., CAMBRIDGE Tuesday at 9AM followed by a Rite of Christian Burial in the Sacred Heart Church, 49 Sixth St., Cambridge at 10AM. Visiting Monday 4-7 PM. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to the Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA. Lenny was born September 28, 1950 to Richard L. and Helen (Connors) Nuth in East Cambridge, MA He graduated frm Cambridge High and Latin School where he enjoyed the debate club and the drama group. He earned a reputation as a star pitcher that gave him a stint with the Yankee farm team. Many remember those days on the basketball court, as well as the many ski trips to the mountains of New Hampshire and Vermont. During the Vietnam War Lenny served in the 101st Airborne known as the “Flying Eagles” and became part of the Military Police. Upon returning home he returned to the University of Massachusetts Boston to earn a BS degree in Sociology with a focus on Criminal Justice. After working for the Criminal Justice system of Massachusetts Lenny pursued his interest in Real Estate, earned his Real Estate Broker’s License and founded Classic Realty in Belmont, MA. The digital age brought Lenny a new passion. He co-founded, managed and prepared for investors Safety.com, an online shopping site. His success caught the attention of industry leaders GO Daddy, Name Media and other Domain Name Corporations for whom he consulted on strategic positioning objectives. In retirement Lenny enjoyed golfing, boating, snowmobiling and Winnipesaukee Lake living with his significant other of 24+ years, Ellen.
